The tine angle control system for the standing grain harvester (1) has two separate guide tracks (13,14) for guide rollers (12,12'). Each guide roller is mounted on an arm (11,11') fastened to a shaft (9) carrying a set of tines (10). Each set of tines has two guide arms. The shaft for each set of tines is held at its ends on one of six pairs of arms (6) forming a drum (2) with a central shaft (5). Each arm has a bearing (7) at its end for a tine.
