A textile aorta prosthesis (1) is formed from a fan-fold panel joined edge-to-edge by a sewn seam (8) which effectively eliminates the fan-fold in a curved inner radius. The inner radius of the prosthesis bears a semi-flexible guideline strip (9) into which the seam (8) is sewn forming a teardrop cross-section. The seam (8) penetrates up to six layers of fabric and is located outside the void within the prosthesis.
