System and Method of controlling a speaker volume for a mobile terminal

A pressure sensing unit with contact-type sensor e.g. piezoelectric sensor senses the contact pressure applied by the user and produces a control signal. The output control unit controls the speaker volume, based on the control signal. An independent claim is also included for method of controlling speaker volume.
