METHOD FOR WRITE BACK FROM MIRROR CACHE IN CACHE DUPLICATING METHOD

<p>An RAID device for storing the same data by at least duplicating the data. When a data write is instructed from outside, data is written into a local cache and a mirror cache and local cache data is written into a primary disc while mirror cache data is written into a secondary disc. When a data read is instructed from outside and if the instructed data is present in the cache, local cache data or mirror cache data is judged whether it is valid data according to an error detection code and valid data is output. If the instructed data is not present in the cache, the primary disc data or the secondary disc data is judged whether it is valid data according to an error detection code and valid data is output.</p>
