<p>Manufacture of polyhydroxy-alkanoic acid fibers comprises preparing non-crystalline fibers by melt extruding polyhydroxy-alkanoic acid and solidifying by quenching to up to its glass transition temperature + 15[deg]C, cold drawing the non-crystallized fibers at up to the glass transition temperature + 20[deg]C, and heating. An independent claim is also included for the polyhydroxy-alkanoic acid fibers.</p> |
