In a camera apparatus comprising an image detector, processor and memory, input data or signals from a camera mounting or attachment are detected and used to control image capture settings, stored in the camera memory. Several, plural image capture settings may be stored in the memory and, upon attachment of a camera mount or attachment, the relevant setting or parameter may be selected to control imaging. The camera mounting may be provided to attach the camera 1001 to a person's head or chest, via a wearable harness, or to a vehicle, such as a bicycle (Figure 2). The stored settings may comprise motion stabilisation settings, the input signals being provided by motion sensors associated with the mounting. When the camera is fixed to the mount, the input from the mounting may further control imaging parameters including frequency of picture taking, exposure and field of view (FOV). |
