The present invention relates to wooden boards and timber products. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is a board for decking and is a wooden longitudinal member (25) with a lower surface (28) having a substantially centrally located longitudinal anti-cupping groove (29) bordered on one or both sides by a longitudinally disposed reeded section (30), tapered sides with a taper from an upper surface (26) to the lower surface (28), and with a machined low slip profile or thread pattern (27) on the upper surface (26).
