<p>The invention relates to a method for promoting wound healing, said method comprising administering to a mammal, including man, in need of such promotion an effective amount of an inhibitor of 11-b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11b-HSD1), said 11b-HSD1 inhibitor having the formula (I) wherein T, E, L, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are as defined in the specification. These compounds may also be used in the manufacture of a medicament for promoting wound healing.</p> |
