The invention relates to a two-seater kart-type motor vehicle which is adapted for a novice user. The inventive vehicle is characterised in that the two seats are disposed longitudinally one behind the other and, preferably, the front seat is occupied by a novice and the rear seat is occupied by an instructor. Moreover, the rear seat is equipped with instructor control means, such as an instructor steering wheel and instructor accelerator and brake pedals. In this way, when a novice user participating in a track initiation is in the front seat, he/she has the sensation of being alone in the kart. In addition, the wheelbase of one such vehicle is essentially the same as that of a standard vehicle and has a similar performance. The sensations felt by the user can be reinforced by providing the front seat with novice control means, e.g. a novice steering wheel and novice pedals. The vehicle is particularly suitable for use during a track initiation or when a novice driver is being trained. |
