<p>The device has a catheter with a proximal end, a distal end, and an extending inner lumen. A set of fluid entry ports (20a-20h) formed in a sidewall of the catheter, is in fluid communication with the inner lumen. A fluid-impermeable barrier occluding selected fluid entry ports is selectively removable with respect to each of selected fluid entry ports. A microprocessor coupling the catheter controls stimulus. An independent claim is also included for a method of maintaining fluid flow through a catheter.</p> |
