A turbocharger whose turbine casing is defined by an introduction passage 69 at the turbine inlet and a scroll part surrounding the turbine wheel 14, wherein a tongue 76 defines a boundary between the introduction passage 69 and the scroll. A partition 79 divides the turbine inlet into two inlets 19A, 19B, wherein the cross section of each inlet reduces to the point where the partition 79 ends, at this point the, now one, inlet's cross section increases towards the tongue 76. An exhaust gas recirculation passage (73 figure 6) may be provided downstream of the end of the partition 79. |
