PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of bubbles and record informations correctly by a method wherein the second pump chamber having the same constitution as a main pump chamber is provided in series and ink in the main chamber is pre-pressurized by the function of the second chamber, thereafter, the ink droplet is injected. CONSTITUTION:The subpump chamber 11d having the same constitution as the main pump chamber 11b is provided in series between the main pump chamber 11b and a liquid supplying path 11e. A pressure wave is generated in the subpump chamber 11d by impressing an auxiliary signal and is propagated to the main pump chamber 11b through a liquid diode section 11c to prepressurize the ink in the chamber 11b. Immediately thereafter, the pressure of the liquid ink in the chamber 11b is increased by outputting a control signal and the ink is injected from a nozzle 11a as an ink droplet. In this case, the smaller volumetric variation of the chamber 11b necessary for the ink droplet injection becomes sufficient enough to continue the function by a volume corresponding to the prepressurizing of the main pump chamber 11b, therefore, generation of cavitation in the chamber 11b and inducing of air in the nozzle section 11a may be prevented. |
