PURPOSE:To increase the precision of the position of calculation, by securing such constitution in that a light source moving together with a mobile member is provided in opposition to the one-dimensional image sensor and the control pulse is produced only when the light receiving cell with every several units delivers the optical signal after receiving the light beams. CONSTITUTION:The light source 14 which moves together with a mobile member is provided in opposition to the light receiving surface 12 of the one-dimensional image sensor 13 (23). The clock pulse given from the clock pulse generator 22 is applied to the sensor 23 as well as to the divider 24 having a division frequency (n). If M nN is defined when the light beam goes into the M-th light receiving cell of sensor 23, the output of the divider 24 is 0 is case when the optical signal of the sensor 23 is delivered. Thus the DFF25 delivers no output. The output pulse is generated also from the divider 24 when M=nN is satisfied. Thus the DFF delivers an output, and the calculating position signal is delivered from the one-shot circuit 26. In such way, the precision can be increased for the position of calculation. |
