<p>A security fence or wall (10) has a plurality of brackets (12) secured to the top of the fence or wall (10) at spaced intervals along the length of the fence or wall (10), each bracket (12) has an upright portion (14), the lower end of which is secured to the fence or wall (10), a curved portion (16) extends from the upper end of the upright portion (14) to the side of the fence or wall (10) which is open to attack, the curved portions (16) extending upwardly from the upright portion (14), the end of the curved portion (16) remote from the upright portion (14) extending downwardly, an expanded metal mesh (20) is secured between the brackets (12) to provide a curved overhang (22) which extends along the top of the fence or wall (10) on the side of the fence or wall (10) open to attack, the expanded metal mesh (20) defining sets of closely spaced louvers (24) running parallel to the top of the fence or wall (10), the louvers (24) on the portions of the mesh secured to the upright portions (14) of the brackets (12) sloping downwardly towards the side open to attack.</p> |
