Connection of a robot mechanical unit and a control unit

The robot has a hollow base (4) in a robot mechanical unit (2). A closing unit is attached to the base so as to cover an opening of the base. The unit has a through hole or a cutout through which connecting cable (3) from a control unit passes. A connector (15) is arranged inside the base for connecting the connecting cable with an internal cable of the robot mechanical unit.
