PURPOSE: A production process information system for enabling a field worker and an office worker to use product information, and a controlling method thereof are provided to enhance production efficiency by storing the production information such as materials, a production plan, a productivity, and a quality, and making the field worker/office worker use the product information. CONSTITUTION: A main server(1) generates/provides productivity information, quality information, and operation status information by receiving an item/quantity of stored materials, a production item, an object quantity, and a production result. In case of the productivity or the quality is under a reference value, or production equipments are in an idle state, the main server generates an alert. A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)(2) inputs the product result and the production information of the produce item at a work field. A work field computer(3) inputs the production item and the object quantity by a fixed production/shipping plan. An office computer(4) inputs the production/shipping plan. A sub-server(5) stores the production information. An electronic signboard(6) displays the production information and the alert.
