A hand held sealing device has a power unit or assembly 4 detachable from a heat sealing portion 5 of the device. Two associated variants are proposed, one with, and one without a handle 6. The coupling structure may be in the form of a dovetail arrangement on the respective power unit 4 and heat sealing portion 5 casings. The device may make changing the battery, or changing the type of heat sealing head easier. |
