In the device according to the invention, each roller is, at its ends, gripped and centred by rotating elements, with which the roller is firmly coupled during rotation. At least one of said rotating elements is mounted coaxially and with free rotation about its own axis inside a fixed tube. The rotating element, which grips the other end of the roller, is at least in part coaxially mounted and displaceable with free rotation about its own axis, inside a tube and axially in relation to a fixed frame. Each of the rotating elements is hollow inside and supports in its interior a grip element with spring, which is provided with flexible lamellas which serve to surround and to secure a pin arranged transversely and firmly at the end of the roller. Each of the rotating elements is moreover provided with a frustoconical engagement which serves automatically to centre the tube in relation to the element itself.
