System and decoder for pay tv data processing and process for management of at least two decoders

The system has decoders with a counter acting on an activating/deactivating unit which activates the processing of television data, and are connected to security modules e.g. smart card. Identification number of the modules is compared with identification number of control messages of an event. The decoder transfers the control messages of the event to the modules, if the compared identification numbers are equal. Independent claims are included for : (1) a system for controlling pay TV data including at least two decoders; and (2) a method of controlling two decoders for processing pay TV data.
