METHOD FOR RECEIVING/DISPLAYING IMAGE DATA HAVING CONNECTED IMAGE DATA SUCH AS CARTOON ON INTERNET AND IMAGE VIEWER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for receiving/displaying image data of cartoon on the Internet and an image viewer using the same are provided to display a requested image fast without a delay in response to image request information of a user by previously storing the images of the next page as well as the requested page. CONSTITUTION: The image request information corresponding to the specified page is received from the user(S604). It is judged that the images over a predetermined number larger than the pages requested from the user are stored(S620). In case that the pages over the predetermined number are not stored, image transfer of the not-stored pages is requested to a server(S622). The transferred image data is stored. The image of the pages requested from the user is decoded/displayed(S628).
