<p>An optical disk device has a tray on which a disk or a cartridge is placed, a chassis provided below the tray, and a top plate provided above the tray. In the tray is formed a disk body placement space or a cartridge placement space respectively corresponding to the shape of a disk or a cartridge placed. Two kinds of retaining mechanisms are provided, and each of them retains a disk or a cartridge in each of the placement spaces.</p> |
