Surgical system

The system has a forceps and a laser forceps (19) for medical treatment in a body cavity. An endoscope observes tissue in the cavity, and two monitors display images taken by the endoscope. The laser forceps forms an indicating point at a desired portion of the tissue surface. A joy-stick device mounted to the forceps controls the position of the indicating point superimposed on the images displayed on screens of the monitors.
