An adaptor for coupling a first medical electrical lead connector terminal and a second medical electrical lead connector terminal to an IMD connector port, (the port including a first high-voltage connector and a second high-voltage connector isolated from the first high-voltage connector) the adaptor comprising : a connector terminal adapted to engage within the IMD connector port and including a first connector ring and a second connector ring; the first connector ring isolated from the second connector ring and adapted for electrical coupling with the first high-voltage connector of the IMD port; and the second connector ring adapted for electrical coupling with the second high-voltage connector of the IMD port; a first port adapted to engage the first lead connector terminal and including a first contact and a second contact, the first contact adapted for high-voltage coupling and electrically isolated from the second contact; a second port adapted to engage the second lead connector and including a contact, the contact adapted for high-voltage coupling; a first conductor electrically coupling the first contact of the first port to the first connector ring; a second conductor electrically coupling the contact of the second port to the second connector ring.
