In a fuel injection type engine (13) including a cylinder head (18), a throttle body (24) has an intake passage (28) leading to an intake port (2121) and a fuel injection valve (31) which injects fuel towards the intake port (2121), the throttle body (24) can be arranged close to a cylinder head (18) and, at the same time, the fuel injection valve (31) can be cooled effectively. <IMAGE>
