PURPOSE: A phase split structure is provided to effectively suppress generation of large magnetic field in the outside of a cable core. CONSTITUTION: A phase split structure comprises a plurality of cable cores(102) having shield layers arranged along an outer circumference of respective superconductors; a split box(1) for accommodating the cable cores extending from an assembly portion(110) where the cable cores are assembled, into the superconducting cable; and a conductive connecting portion(2) for interconnecting the shield layers of the cable cores in the split box. The conductive connection portion includes cylindrical members(2a) covering respective outer peripheries of the shield layers of the cable cores; and connection members(2b) for connecting the cylindrical members.
