An inner tube for a pneumatic tyre is divided into three annular compartments (4, 5, 6) by two dividing walls (7, 8) which are of bellows-like constructions so as to be capable of sealing against an outer wall of the tube in the event of deflation of compartments (4, 6). A valve (13) is provided for simultaneous inflation/equalisation of the compartments via inlets (14). Apparatus for injection moulding the tube is disclosed, as is apparatus for use in ultrasonically bonding the tube edges (11) and inner edges (9, 10) of the walls (7, 8). <IMAGE> |
