摘要 An auxiliary heating/cooling device (22) is connected in series with the main heating/cooling device (21). A heating arrangement for a mould tool (1) with two half-sections (2, 3) for producing optical information carriers comprises a main heating/cooling device with a pipe system and a main heating/cooling element for setting the first half-section at a given temperature and receiving the return flow of fluid. An auxiliary heating/cooling device is connected in series with the main device so that the first half-section is located in between the two devices. The auxiliary device has a heating/cooling capacity which is less than 50 % of that for the main device. The auxiliary heating/cooling element is used to set the second half-section at a given temperature. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Mould arrangement comprising two half-sections defining a cavity for injection-moulding an optical information carrier, each half-section having an inlet and outlet for a coolant, the arrangement including the above heating arrangement; and (b) Method for cooling the mould tool using this heat arrangement, by passing a flow of heating/cooling fluid through the first half-section and then heating/cooling this fluid before it is passed through the second half-section.
