A starch based extrudable profiled composition is prepared from (all wt.%): starch to 100% 0.1-15 biodegradable polymer 0.01-8.0 plasticiser 0.5-10.0 foaming agent, and 0.01-0.1 additives. Components are mixed and extruded at 100-180 degrees C temperature. |
