A vertically movable window glass (5) for a vehicle side window has front and rear edges which are offset towards the inside of the window opening and engage in a channel section weather strip (8) carried by support structure (9), the offset part (10) of the window glass sliding in said strip (8). The offset of the said part is such that the remaining external surface of the glass (5) lies substantially flush with the external surface of adjacent parts (7) of the vehicle body. |
