PURPOSE:To readily construct a strip footing, by using a precast block, having a pair of grooves, and forms. CONSTITUTION:A precast block 13, wherein a pair of grooves 27a and 27b are formed, is aligned on cobble stones 11. Forms 31 and 33 are erected in the grooves 27a and 27b, and a wedge 29 is inserted into a gap between the grooves 27a, 27b and the forms 31, 33, respectively, to secure the forms 31 and 33. Concrete is placed into a space 15 between the forms to complete a strip footing. |
