Process for thermal insulation of buildings, with heat-insulating panels wherein:with panels having a width which is less than the interval between the rafters, two or more panels are jointed together by tongue and groove joints at their end faces which run parallel to the rafters, the excess piece of panel is cut off to leave a panel assembly equal in width to the space between the rafters plus an allowance of from 0.5 to 5 cm, and the cut-to-size panel assembly is compressed crosswise to the rafters, by the amount of the above allowance and is thus introduced between the rafters, then the excess piece of panel cut off in the previous operation is assembled with another panel, or piece of panel, in the same manner, cut to size and introduced between the rafters, and with panels having a width which is greater than the interval between the rafters, the excess piece of panel is cut off to leave a panel equal in width to the space between the rafters plus an allowance of from 0.5 to 5 cm, and the trimmed panel is compressed, crosswise to the rafters, by the amount of the above allowance and is thus introduced between the rafters, then the excess piece of panel cut off in the previous operation is assembled with another panel, or piece of panel, in the same manner, cut to size and introduced between the rafters. The individual panels or panel assemblies thus introduced between the rafters are then joined by bringing together their tongue and groove profiles running crosswise to the rafters.
|
