摘要 FIELD: electrical and space engineering; power generation by converting radiation energy into electric power. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed solar battery has frame in the form of planar panels with regularly disposed compartments and modules installed to fit size of module compartments; each module has substrate carrying solar cells attached thereto through adhesive and interconnected by means of metal buses to set up electric circuit; they are protected by transparent plates attached through adhesive to solar cells on face end. Radiation-resistant foiled insulating material is used for substrate and rear protection of solar cells. Formed on rear surface of substrate are current-conducting tracks interconnecting solar cells into solar battery circuit. Rear coating of substrate is made of high-emissivity material. Flat panels are made in the form of tubular frame with strings tensioned thereon. Modules are mounted above peripheral tubes up to projection beyond planar panels with minimal clearances between adjacent panels. Proposed design enables soldering up of extreme solar cells dispensing with auxiliary structural members, easy connection of modules to electric circuit of solar battery, better use of effective surface area of battery planar panels, and reduction of operating temperature. ^ EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, enhanced power output, and reduced mass of solar battery. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
