FIELD: packing equipment, particularly large containers characterized by means facilitating filling or emptying thereof. ^ SUBSTANCE: container has rectangular body with bottom, side walls and hinged lid. Lid is formed as split member and consists of two overlapped halves. One lid half comprises extension, another one comprises depression to seal joint between lid halves. Both halves are spring-loaded so that lid may be opened by 90o - 110o angle. Lid half having extension in end part thereof is provided with plate having finger secured transversely to plate. Finger cooperates with hook on lever hinged to side wall. Opposite lever end has semicircular cut formed in upper part thereof. Semicircular cut mates with rectangular stop rotary installed on side wall. ^ EFFECT: provision of transportation, storage and unloading of high-quality coal from container by container tilting, possibility to mechanize container lid opening and closing processes. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg |
