The swinging bow (9) comprises a gripping section (10) and release projection (11). The latter projects into the ski holding space, ready to receive skis (8). Touching the release projection by the skis, causes the bow to swing over them, snapping into the holding position and gripping the skis under e.g. spring-loading (15). The bow is then biased in the closed direction.
