FIELD: oil and gas production. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treating drilling muds with inhibiting additives when boring in instable clayey sediments. Treatment comprises mixing drilling mud with potassium-containing additives, in particular potassium hydroxide and potassium alum preliminarily mixed with water in appropriately shaped reactor under atmospheric thermobarometric conditions at weight ratio of components determined by pH within a range of 8,5 to 9. After completion of reaction and before practical demand, mixture is stabilized by adding water-soluble high-molecular KMC-600 type (carboxymethylcellulose) polymer, after which resulting complex inhibiting reagent is stirred with drilling mud until homogenous state. ^ EFFECT: improved workability, efficiency, and economy of drilling mud treatment. ^ 1 tbl |
