FIELD: earth-moving and construction machinery. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for compacting non-cohesive and low-cohesive soils, both on horizontal surfaces and on surface of earth structures at angle to horizon. Proposed vibratory compactor has truck-tractor, frame with hydraulic cylinders secured on truck-tractor, platform connected by beams-ties and horizontal joints, drive and working plates. Pans of working plates are provided with two-level arrangement of working contact surfaces. Lower contact surface is formed by plates in form of lenses arranged in staggered order. ^ EFFECT: increased capacity, improved quality of soil compacting. ^ 4 dwg
