FIELD: metallurgy, in particular composites with aluminum alloy matrix. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for production of multilateral composites containing aluminium-based alloy matrix, reinforced with 5-50 vol % of steel fibers, useful for aircraft industry. Said matrix contains (mass %): magnesium 0.20-2.2; silicium 0.20-2.0; copper 0.10-3.0; manganese 0.15-0.80; zirconium 0.05-0.20; hafnium 0.001-0.05; titanium 0.10-0.25; iron 0.10-0.50; chromium 0.001-0.30; and balance: aluminium.
