FIELD: hydraulic engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of elimination of ice jams on sections of rivers and it is designed to prevent flooding caused by formation of ice jams. Said ice jam is broken by bending gravity waves generated by floating wave generator with frequency equal to critical frequency for said water area. Wave generator is arranged at lower edge of ice jam in direction of flow. Wave generator is brought to side and is set into operation from helicopter. ^ EFFECT: provision of effective breakage of ice jams of rivers without harm to fish. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
