FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves recording and estimating spontaneous air flow speed in inhaling (Fmean), instantaneous air flow speed in inhaling (Finst) and rarefaction in breathing paths in inhaling (NIP). If P0.1 is 0-1.5 cm of water column and Fmean and Finst are equal to 0-0.5l/min/kg (NIP being equal to (-5)-0 cm of water column), the auxiliary lung ventilation is evaluated as ineffective and measures are undertaken to enhance its effectiveness. 10 min later, after the measures being undertaken, the same values are repeatedly measured (Fmean, Finst, P0.1, NIP) and auxiliary lung ventilation is evaluated. The actions are repeated until parameters values (Fmean, Finst, P0.1, NIP) are brought in correspondence to effective auxiliary lung ventilation. ^ EFFECT: high sensitivity of test procedure; avoided complications in patient breathing pathways; accelerated restoration of spontaneous breathing. ^ 1 tbl |
