PURPOSE: A wireless communication terminal having an array antenna and a beam pattern control method thereof are provided to improve the quality of calls by controlling the direction of a beam pattern formed by an array antenna and obtaining a high antenna gain. CONSTITUTION: An array antenna part(215) comprises the first array antenna(211), the second array antenna(212), the first phase shifter(213), and the second phase shifter(214). The first array antenna(211) forms a beam pattern having a specific directivity according to the phase shift of the first phase shifter(213). The second array antenna(212) forms a beam pattern having a specific directivity according to the phase shift of the second phase shifter(214). The first phase shifter(213) executes control so that the first array antenna(211) can form a beam pattern having a specific directivity through the phase adjustment of a control part(208). The second phase shifter(214) executes control so that the second array antenna(212) can form a beam pattern having a specific directivity through the phase adjustment of the control part(208).
