PURPOSE: A fixing pin for a liquid crystal display device, and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to improve the assembling efficiency and reduce the production cost of a liquid crystal display device by removing a tap for coupling a screw. CONSTITUTION: A fixing pin(100) for a liquid crystal display device is formed of a head part(110) formed in flat cylindrical shape, and a body part(120) vertically extended from the head part, having a slit(121) in the center. A liquid crystal display device is formed of a containing vessel, a liquid crystal display panel, a printed circuit board, and a first fixing pin. The containing vessel has a first combining hole. The liquid crystal display panel is contained in the containing vessel and displays an image in response to a driving signal. The printed circuit board has a second combining hole corresponding to the first combining hole, and is electrically connected with the liquid crystal display panel for applying the driving signal to the liquid crystal display panel. The first fixing pin is inserted into the first and second combining holes for fixing the printed circuit board.
