The air- or gas-heating gas burner has a plate near the outlets with openings for the medium which flows along the burner. This plate is a burner plate (13') at right angles to the direction of flow of the medium heated, the openings extending radially from a central point (19) and being so shaped that it flows out parallel to the plate. A gas-injection nozzle is mounted centrally on the plate, having primary outlets in a plane parallel to it.
