LOW-NOISE AMPLIFIER CONTROL SYSTEM USING AGC CURRENT OF RECEIVED SIGNAL AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A low-noise amplifier control system is provided to maintain constantly reception sensitivity of a receiver by turning on/off operations of a now-noise amplifier according to an AGC(Automatic Gain Control) current of a received signal. CONSTITUTION: A low-noise amplifier(102) is used for performing a low-noise amplifying process for an input signal. An AGC current detector(112) is used for detecting an AGC current according to a level of an output signal of the low-noise amplifier. A switch(SW1) is used for turning on/off the low-noise amplifier. A control unit(120) controls the switch according to the AGC current of the AGC current detector.
