PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve front and side visibility by complementing light emitted from two liquid crystal driving modes by applying different liquid crystal driving modes to pixel areas. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines are formed on a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate. Data lines(171) are formed on the TFT substrate, crossing the gate lines. A pixel electrode(190) is formed at every pixel area defined by crossing the data lines with the gate lines. Thin film transistors are connected with the gate lines, the data lines, and the pixel electrodes. Common electrodes are formed at a color filter substrate facing the TFT substrate. First and second domain dividing elements are formed on the TFT substrate, wherein the first domain dividing elements(91,92,93) and second domain dividing elements are cut parts formed on the pixel electrodes. Third and fourth domain dividing elements are formed on the color filter substrate, wherein the third domain dividing elements(271,272,273,274) are cut parts formed on the common electrode and the fourth domain dividing elements are protrusions formed on the common electrode.
