PURPOSE: Provided are colored chaff composition and various shapes of mattress as seedbed and apparatus for manufacturing the same. Therefore, as using the colored chaff composition and various shapes of mattress, it is easy to sow seeds and raise seedlings at home or seedling-raising factories. CONSTITUTION: To make various shapes of mattress(1), the colored chaff composition is uniformly mixed in a mixing vessel(3), moisture-controlled with a dehydrator(4), formed into a predetermined shape having a uniform thickness with a transverse distributor(5) and then compressed with a roller. The colored chaff composition comprises: 82% by weight of pulverized chaff or rice straw as a main component; 0.5% by weight of a coloring agent; 0.5% by weight of N, P2O5 and K2O; 0.5% by weight of pesticides and 1% by weight of a pH adjuster. |
