The sun canopy for an open-topped sports car comprises a cotton sheet (1) with wooden bars (3) at each end. Clips (2) are mounted on one of these which can be attached to the top of the windscreen and are connected by elastic cords (4) to hooks (5) which fit over the roll-bat at the rear of the car.
