PURPOSE: An ozone contact type wastewater treatment apparatus is provided, which exhibits more than 99 % of contact efficiency, most of the efficiency is obtained by the downstream screw pipe and two line mixers. The wastewater is further treated by fiber thread filter and activated carbon filter thus removing chromaticity by 100 %. CONSTITUTION: The ozone contact type wastewater treatment apparatus comprises a flow equalization tank(2) to receive wastewater; a centrifugal pump(3) to pump wastewater from the flow equalization tank(2) to an ozone contact tank(7) through an injector, a screw pipe(5), line mixers(6,21); an injector(4) to inject ozone generated from an ozone generator(1) through a side ozone inducer(42) to the wastewater flowing through the pipe; a screw pipe(5) set next to the injector(4); two line mixers(6,21) to mix ozone and wastewater; an ozone contact tank(7) in which a vertical impeller(9) which is surrounded by a side partition(10) and a circular partition(11) and is driven by a reducing motor(12) is installed, ozone mixed wastewater enters through a mixing and dissolving nozzle device(8) set at the bottom, is agitated by the vertical impeller(9), and ozone treated water overflow to an activated carbon filter(16).
