The printing device has a feed mechanism for serial supply of a goods labels (1), made of a thermosensitive paper or similar, to a printing head having a thermorail (3) facing a deflection edge (4) and a counter-pressure surface (6), providing a given surface pressure for the printed label. The interchangeable thermorail is combined with an adapter (7), allowing adjustment of the deflection of the flexible holder (9) supporting the thermorail, for providing a constant surface pressure independent of the thermorail width.
