PURPOSE: A multiplex PCR primer set for amplifying human MODY 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 genes simultaneously is provided, thereby effectively amplifying and sequencing each exon of the human MODY 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 genes in a single reaction tube within a short period of time. CONSTITUTION: The multiplex PCR primer set for amplifying human MODY 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 genes simultaneously is selected from primer sets containing an oligonucleotide having one nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs:1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31 sequentially or the mutant thereof; and an oligonucleotide having one nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs:2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 sequentially or the mutant thereof, wherein the mutant oligonucleotide further comprises 1 to 3 nucleotides linked to or deleted from the 3'-terminal, 5'-terminal or 3'- and 5'-terminal of the corresponding oligonucleotide.
