SUSPENDED CONTAINERS

Suspender units of various forms for packaging containers. A unit has a supporting ring (18) constructed to be connected with the rim of the container and a free suspender (16) is deflectable from a formed position to an upstanding position in which it is capable, via the ring (18), of carrying the weight of the container and goods. The finger suspender (16) is integrated to the connector at a location substantially offset from the central axis of the package. The suspender is joined to the support by a flexible root (R) that forms a flexible hinge.
